My Final Goodbye…

This episode rocked my face off. So much controversy I can’t even handle it. I probably should have figured that when the Michael Scott Paper Company and Dunder Mifflin combined forces there would be controversy but that thought didn’t even come to mind. The way that Charles Minor ran things was EXTREMELY different from Michael Scott’s. One thing that makes me sad is that fact that everyone is so selfish now. The company is not flowing as one unit but as a lot of little separate entities always striving to be the best. That is okay in some ways but when Dwight starts yelling in the phone when Ryan is trying to communicate with the client, the true colors begin to start bleeding through. AND CASUAL FRIDAYS?? I can totally respect the decision to bring that back but what instituting some sort of dress code please? Meredith needs to get it together. What does she think she is going to the club? She was for sure dressed extremely inappropriate and she looked way to scandalous to be going in to work. Like i said, I can respect the decision for Casual Fridays but not if people are going to abuse their rights. Overall, I really hope that the Office can pull it together and reunite after their quite hard breakup, if you will. I have totally enjoyed my time blogging and hope that some of you have enjoyed reading it! I must admit, I never have been much of a television fan. I don’t want any TV therefore, I had never watch The Office before, but after blogging, I have grown to love The Office and will hopefully continue to watch! Michael Scott is the freakin’ man. Peace.

Come on 24…

Come on 24, right when the season was starting to pick up you go and take 3 steps backwards.  I was not impressed with this week’s episode at ALL.  It was was quite boring and at times confusing.  First off, who is this secret society that Tony Almeida is working for??  They showed a whole bunch of people in a massive conference call but did not introduce any of them.  The only one we really know is Alan Wilson.  All I know is he is the actor  who plays the coach from Remember the Titans.  Other than that, I really have no idea what his role is in the show.  Also the President’s daughter and Chief of Staff is growing more and more unstable.  After the President gave Jonas Hodges immunity for cooperating and giving information, Olivia takes things into her own hands and  makes a plan to go after him for killing her brother.  She is making the President look weaker than she already is and how irrational they both are.  The few bright spots in this episode were centered around Jack (go figure).  The first one was a classic Jack Bauer interrogation scene.  Jonas Hodges, was being held in a FBI type hospital after attempting to kill himself.  They summon Jack to make Hodges cooperate and give information.  Jack comes through once again and forces him to give in like a little school girl.  The other awesome scene was when Jack chews out Janis Gold, one of the tech people.  Janis has been complaining the whole season and always seems to annoy everyone.  Jack finally lets her have it and it was awesome!!!.  The only disturbing part was, Jack said that President Palmer was in office when it’s really Allison Taylor.  Jack’s sickness is getting worse, but somehow they will be able to find a cure. He’s Jack Bauer, he’s a god in human form….

More Grey’s

So this week on Grey’s Anatomy brought parents! We met Izzie’s mom and Meredith and Lexie’s dad was back. We also got to see some “father/daughter” relationship between Meredith and the Chief. First off, Izzie’s mom was great. Completely a trailer, simple mom. But she cared so much for Izzie and loves her so much. Izzie’s mom came to the hospital on a call from Bailey. She was informed by Izzie that she had skin cancer. Mom was so realized because someone at her trailer park had had skin cancer and it was no big deal. Simple procedure. Izzie led her to believe it was no big deal until she really told her what was wrong. And Mom’s reaction to the news was very heartfelt. She cares so much and doesn’t want anything to happen to her baby girl. Izzie later in the episode goes on from some tests to see if the chemo is working. Before she even knows the results, she lies to her mother saying the cancer is gone. Mom is so happy and says she loves her. Mom is very simple and says she always knew Izzie was too good for the trailer park. So overall, Mom was a great character because it really showed a lot about Izzie.

Next, enter Thatcher, the Grey sisters dad. He comes to the episode, first to the chief, and says he is now clean and attending AA meetings. It is part of the program to apologize for his addiction. So the chief calls Meredith and Lexie in so their father can talk to them. Meredith doesn’t show any emotion. He was never part of her life, and she could care less about him now. Lexie, on the other hand, forgives him.

The relationship I personally liked most was the chief and Meredith. The chief had an affair was Meredith’s mother many years ago and Meredith has alway held a grudge against him because he left her mother and her mother then became cold and hard for the rest of her life. She blames the chief for this. The chief has always picked on Meredith, always pushing her, yelling at her, but, she finally realizes, acting like a father. The episode ends with them realizing this.

Next week is the big wedding. So be sure to watch to see who ends up getting married!

What did I say?

Okay folks…I am just going to go ahead and throw out the fact that I indirectly called what was going to happen regarding Dunder Mifflin and the Michael Scott Paper Company. I knew that the Michael Scott Paper Company could not hold onto a solid enough plot line to last too long and I was right! Thank you…thank you!

This week’s Office was insane! There are so many thing that I would just love to talk about but the main one is how about my man Michael Scott? He maneuvers his way back into Dunder Mifflin when he was in a TOTAL hole. How the heck did he manage to pull that one off? I am pretty glad that the Michael Scott Paper Company is gone because Michael not being with Jim and Dwight and the rest of them really made me kind of sad. Dunder Mifflin is where Michael belongs so I am so happy that he is back.

Another thing…thank the Lord that Charles Minor is GONE. He made the atmosphere in the office so stuffy and tense and I just did not like the way the office was being ran. Now, we have Michael back, Pam back…in SALES might I add, kind of an interesting twist AND Charles gone! I wonder where what will happen next now that the office is back to its main group.

How many of you like the fact that Charles is gone and Michael is back?

Did anyone like the way the plot was going?

Let me know what you all think. Make sure you comment back on this blog! I will be here next week for the last blog…I’m excited to see what the drama and excitement will be for next weeks episode. Stay tuned…DON’T MISS OUT! Until then, peace out.

Finally!

The return of Grey’s Anatomy was a hit this week. I great review is on the TVGuide network. So be sure to look at that. What i was really interested in was the relationship between Alex and George this week. George has always been in the back seat. He’s a nice all and all but he’s no asshole and always very friendly, if you know what I mean. But Alex and George have always sort of competed with each other, even though their characters are very different. The first time we ever saw them compete, medically, was in the first season when they both got stuck in an elevator with a dying man. Alex froze and George saved the day. But this is where we saw that George had out-shown Alex.

Also, the two of them have always had a relationship with Izzie. George is Izzie’s best friend. And now Alex is her boyfriend. But this week we saw again how George trumped Alex medically and could easily handle pressure. Alex then proceeds to blow up at George, calling him names and saying he’s a bad doctor. But at the end, we see George sitting at the local bar, and Alex comes and sits ext to him. Alex then says, that Izzie is really sick and it’s a lot of pressure, and he’s not good at handling pressure. It was nice to see Alex take down his wall and confide in George.

On the Izzie side of things, we see her get stedily worse. She is given the strongest chemo possible and at first, she is all smiles, eating hamburgers, and planning Meredith’s wedding. We see her trick all her friend multiple times, and use her sickness to get what she wants in all fun. But then we see her take a turn, and she faints. It just shows that Izzie really is sick and it’s finally starting to hit her.

Next week should bring more surprises so be sure to stay tuned!

Week 6

Brian Partney, 18 years old is murdered in a hotel elevator while on vacation with his parents. Horatio suspects Brian was randomly killed as a gang initiation, because a black bandana was left at the crime scene. A key card on the victim leads to Mitch Pena, a guest who happens to be staying on the same floor on which the elevator stopped when Brian was shot. Pena insists that he scared Brian when he got too close to Pena’s girlfriend, but he had no reason to murder him. Shane, Brian’s younger brother, remembers seeing a guy speeding away on a motorcycle at the time of the murder. Tread marks and vegetable oil used for performance bikes lead the CSIs to a bike shop owned by Vasco Torres, who has known connections to the Cobra gang. Unfortunately, when the team gets to the bike yard, the bike Shane saw is on fire, leaving the team with nothing. They also question Luis Mendoza, the hotel bellman who handled the Partneys’ luggage. Mendoza lives in gang territory, and his uniform jacket was found with Brian’s blood, but he swears he’s innocent. When Brian’s father, Roger, vows revenge, threatening to take matters into his own hands, Horatio has him followed. However, Horatio is unable to prevent Mendoza from being attacked while working his second job at a construction site. The CSIs eventually learn that Shane, angry about his brother’s murder, attacked Mendoza. Still on the hunt for Brian’s murderer, Calleigh and Delko track down a pocket watch that Brian carried and find the missing bullet at the bottom of the elevator shaft. In the end, the CSIs piece together what really happened: Mitch Pena gave Vasco Torres his gun and ordered him to kill Brian as his initiation into the Cobra gang. Unable to cope with the grief, Brian’s mother takes the gun that Roger recently bought and shoots Torres as he is being escorted out of the police department.

Heroes: I Am Sylar

so, sylar has gone overboard, this is mainly set to him in this episode and his identity crisis. beside having fluent converstation with his dead mother or himself, he has switched sides to see what he can do. its crazy watching him talk to his mother its like the movie psycho, where the crazy guy was schizophrenic and acted as his dead mother, he would carry her body around and such. sylar is doing the same thing only now he is a shape shifter so he actually changes into his mother and she talks back to him and so on. its kind of sad mainly because he doesnt know what to do with himself. now that he can be anyone he doesnt really know who he is. he was working for denko but denko wanted him to be another agent instead. sylar was having a hard time doing that and staying in check, you know he doesnt want to be anyone but his own unique self and he will definately not take orders from anyone. its easy to tell that he just wants to fit in as the alpha male somewhere, when he ran into micah and micah told him that he could be the savior of all the heroes you saw a bit of a saving grace in their environment. he didnt kill micah which is the first time he didnt kill a hero in all of the seasons. sylars mother convinces him to be the president of the united states, instead he acts as nathan petrelli who tells the public that everything will change and that there will be no more hunting of the heroes.

all the heroes are captured at the end!!! except for matt parkman just because he wont be doing any harm since he is so occupied with his wife and kid now. i do vaguely remember that he wanted to go back and make sure that it never happened again (the whole capturing the heroes thing). ando is captured, mohinder is captured, sylar is not, nathan is captured i believe. the finale is next monday so i am pretty excited to see whats going to happen… until next time

Keep rollin 24

Woooo, another solid episode of 24.   The pace is starting to pick up and it looks like  another prime season finale is in the horizon.   The focus is starting to come back onto Jack , just as it should be.  The big question is what’s going to happen to Jack’s health? ? Jack is getting significantly more sick with no cure to be found yet.   His daughter, Kim was his one hope for a cure but she ended up leaving and going back home  after this episode.  One of the biggest new finding in this episode is that Jack, has a grandchild.  Jack has found he has no reason to live,  but I think the writers are going to use the grandchild, to keep fighting to live and find a cure.  At the end of episode, Jack begins to have a seizure, that shows how sick he really is.  I like how they are dragging this out, you know nothing can really happen to Jack but at least it keeps you on your toes with the possibility he might die.  The most interesting twist has been, the turning of Tony Almeda to the dark side.   I never really saw that coming, but I think its a good twist that will make the finale end well.  The only thing I can’t figure out is , why Tony turned? or why had he been evil the whole time?  My only assumption is that he know he’d go  to jail the rest of his life so  he might as well  get revenge on the government that took everything from him.  My prediction is that in the final episode, Jack’s going to have to shoot Tony, his best friend and partner for years.

Pranks Pranks Prank…

Kaleigh here to talk about this weeks Office.  And I am not going to lie to you all..I thought this week was above par. First off, can I just mention how Dwight and Michael Scott’s relationship has become absolutely ridiculous? I mean seriously, what the heck? They went from partners in crime to hateful enemies in the matter of episodes. Dwight loves playing pranks, and especially on Michael. He went and ransacked all of his belongings and put a FISH IN THE AIR VENT. A FISH? So, Michael, being so oblivious to the world, didn’t know who had come and “stolen” all of his stuff. It makes me a little sad now that these two do not get along anymore. It makes sense because it is part of the competition in the paper industry but Michael Scott used to be Dwight’s hero and now that is soon fading. And guess who is stepping in to fill that void? Charles Minor. Can we talk about Charles Minor? I am going to go ahead and say, I do not like him. Especially in this episode. He is so anal and he even gave his employees a dress code to wear to work.

Along with Dwight’s crazy prank of Michael Scott, Jim got Andy pretty good too. Jim played the pity, sappy, feel bad for me type role to Andy and Andy totally chomped down on the bate Jim was dealing him! Finally, after Andy makes an announcement to the whole office that everyone should be nicer to Jim, he finds out that he had been played! How does that make him feel? Talk about embarrassing.

Has that every happened to you guys? Someone plays a trick on you and you totally fall for it? Respond :) Hope yall enjoy!

Holy 24……

FINALLY!!!   A decent episode that was worth watching and moved at a pretty decent pace.  When we last left 24, President Taylor had just called off an airstrike on Starkwood, after learning that they had converted the bio-weapon into 13 missiles.  Meanwhile, Tony Almeda who infiltrated Starkwood was still on the premise and learned of the President’s veto.  Jack and Tony took things into their own hands and started a covert operation to stop the missile attack.  The intensity of the show finally picked up as Tony began to stop the attack.  He able to plant C4 on the missiles but is caught as he’s trying to get out and begins to fight two of guards.  The C4 detonator is knocked from his hand into a sewer grate, just out of his grasp.  My heart began to pound watching it as the sequence for the missle launch began to start.  Just as you think the launch will happen, Tony finally grabs the remote and sets off all the C4 thwarting the missile attack!!  That scene was classic 24 that we know and love.  The big question now is: where is the season going to go now that the missile attack has been stopped? They begin to address this but I’m quite confused on the direction of it.   Tony is being taken back to FBI with the head Larry Moss, when they must attempt to stop a Starkwood Mercenary, who acquired one of the bio-weapons.  They begin to get in a gun fight and agent Moss is shot and wounded.  Tony then TURNS and kills agent Moss.  It’s an interesting twist but I have no idea what’s going to happen next.  Is Tony really bad?  Is he going to go after the government?? At least the pace will start to pick up, hopefully they’ll keep the classic 24 coming!
